The article was about photosynthesis and how it works, how everything goes and what photosynthesis is. It explains what photosynthesis can do and its work with plants and the nutrients.

2. What do you think the author’s purpose for writing this article was?

I think the author's purpose was to tell us how photosynthesis works and what is but mainly what it is.
