→ Hindus believe the lights welcome the presence of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and goodluck. People set off fireworks and firecrackers as well

→ this is similar to my  belief I celebrate the birth of Jesus which the day is on 25th of december,

→ Diwali is a celebration of light it is celebrated by sweets,fireworks and firecrackers another thing is that they do a rangoli pattern on the ground also known to celebrate Lakshmi the goddess of good luck and wealth,
