→ Maui’s mokopuna through her last fire toenail towards Maui but he has missed it and the forest knew that she was very special so they keeped her fire between the wood which gives the people fire from now on. 

7. Why do you think fire is so important to mankind?

→ Fire was the only thing that could help them survive without it they would all die.
