Tane Mahuta wanted to seperate them sending Ranginui above leaving Papatuanuku below.

Matariki comes from the six stars mothers name.

It comes near the middle of the year so in July or June

It appears in the eastern sky

The matariki star cluster rises up for the first time in the earstern sky.

First of all I think I am Tupu-a-nuku. I like to accompany my grandmother and do everything with her. I also do the same with my family. I treat them both right.
