Whitewater Rafting story starter

“Are you coming or not?” Mele demanded as she took a few steps further into the raft. As Mele slowly got into the raft,
she could see that her brother Tom was
frightened because it was his first day going White Water Rafting. Mele wasn’t scared at all because she’d been water rafting
almost every single day of her life
. Tom took a very slow step in and then as he got in he felt shy and scared. Mele started pulling him in. 
When he finally got in she started to row the boat gently down the river. All of a sudden the river started to flow faster and faster.
Tom was getting scared that something might happen but nothing happened at all.

They saw a cave and paddled inside.

Tom said, ‘’Where are we going?’’

Mele said, ‘’Don’t worry. This is just a path that we are taking, see?’’

Her brother was still scared as she paddled into the cave. They were suddenly very quiet and they heard something.
Tom felt scared as soon as he heard something and he said, 

‘’What was that!?’’ he asked his sister, hiding behind her back.

There was nothing. Just a drop of water on the top of the cave.

“Nothing to worry about!’’ she said. Then she saw the exit path and exited.

Right there in front of her and her brothers eyes, staring at where they were her brother wouldn’t
even make a sound as she paddled she just thought in her mind, 

‘’ maybe we should keep heading straight’’ 

Tom gave a deep sigh and just stayed behind her back Tom just stayed there until Tom saw something he said,

‘’ m-maybe w-we should head into that cave?’’ 

He said in a quiet voice then Mele said,

‘’ ok then in a quiet voice’’ 

As soon as they got into the cave there were heaps of lights on the top of the cave Mele said,

‘’These look like fireflies'’

Tom just stayed behind Mele’s back for a while  as they past the light cave while
they were paddling Mele was just looking at the lights and wasn’t focused on paddling at all, then they
went slowly across the cave like something was pulling the boat towards it but Mele hadn’t realised
because she was distracted by the fireflies and wouldn’t look at where they were going Tom was very
scared something might happened and so he said,

‘’ A-Are you sure your not worried about anything?’’ 

When they got to a point where they heard a drop Mele suddenly looked at the front and as
she could feel the coldness near she said in a shivering voice 

‘’ I-I t-think w-we are near a waterfall’’

 As she finished in a shivering voice, Tom said in a shivering voice 

‘’A-Are you sure’’

Mele said in a shivering voice,

‘’I’m not so sure’’

As soon as they got to an edge where they were about to find out where they were and they
saw that they were near a... waterfall! As soon as there were about to drop 40 feet Mele said in a very quiet voice, 

‘’ t-try not to scream alright 1 2 3!’’

As soon as they were dropping 40 feet Tom muffled his scream and then they hitted the
very bottom both of them fell into the water Mele gasped and splashed the water and then putted
the boat back up and went inside the boat and then she shouted in a shivering voice.

‘’ T-Tom a-are y-you t-there?’’

 Then he gasped and then he swam to the boat shivering and then when he got into the boat
then both of them paddled out of the cave, as soon as they paddled out of the cave, Mele saw
that they were at the place where they started and then they got out Mele asked Tom.

‘’Do you want to go whitewater rafting again?

She asked Tom said 

‘’ Oh no,no,no,no,no I am never doing that again’

Then he asked Mele

‘’ Would you go again?’’

Mele said,

‘’Um maybe not today you know maybe um next month or next week maybe not tomorrow you know’’

Tom knew she wouldn’t have done it again so then they went home and they never went whitewater rafting again well
until next week or month.
