 Hotpot RecipeA hot pot is one of China’s most popular foods! This dish consists of broth (soup), meat slices and vegetables. There are so many different flavours to choose from.

Your job is to watch the provided video and write out the recipe for it. Try make sure that you get all of the ingredients, as well as write out the steps that need to be taken to make it.

  1. Whole Chicken 

  2. Put scallion in the pot

  3. Ginger in the pot 

  4. Sichuan pepper 

  5. Add cooking wine 

  6. Dried chile peppers go into the pot

  7. Put the peppers in the bowl after chopping

  8. Rapeseed oil 

  9. Chopped scallion 

  10. Chopped garlic 

  11. Chopped ginger 

  12. Chopped sichuan 

  13. Pour pixan county bean paste

  14. Black bean sauce  

  15. Green sichuan peppercorns 

  16. Lump sugar 

  17. Put spice blend 

  18. Ferment rice 

  19. Chop meat 

  20. Salt

  21. White pepper powder 

  22. Sichuan peppercorn powder 

  23. Add 1 egg

  24. Add cornstarch 

  25. Chilli flakes 

  26. Grey shrimp 

  27. Add white pepper powder into the bowl 

  28. Add white cracked egg into the bowl of shrimp 

  29. Add cornstarch 

  30. Pour the shrimp onto a plate 

  31. Put pork into a bowl 

  32. Add ginger

  33. Add scallion 

  34. Make sure both are chopped 

  35. White pepper powder 

  36. Soy sauce 

  37. Add three eggs 

  38. Olive oil 

  39. Then one it look dry put the meat in it and fold it with the rest

  41. Dried chilli into the bowl 

  42.  Put chicken broth into the other half of the bowl

  49. And add more chicken broth and add more scallion and mushroom and rice

  1. Grab a pot and make sure it’s cooking with water

  2. Simmer the food for 2 hours

  3. Pour the sichuan pepper in the blender and blend it until it look mushed,

  4. Pour the sichuan on a plate

  5. Let the cooking wine soak for 30 minutes

  6. Put water in the in the pot

  7. Boil for 5 minutes 

  8. Grab it and put the peppers in a bowl

  9. Chop the peppers into really small pieces 

  10. Grab a pot and put rapeseed oil

  11. Then put chopped scallion 

  12. Stir the pot and make sure it is mixed 

  13. Into the pot with the mixed food

  14. Into the pot 

  15. Mix all of the ingredients that in the pot 

  16. Pour a bowl of ferment rice into the pot and mix it 

  17.  Chop meat and put it in a bowl 

  18. Put cornstarch to the bowl as well

  19. Pat the food and make sure you don’t see anymore white 

  20. Put one slice of meat and pat it on the chilli flakes do both sides so it looks all red 

  21. Make sure to make all the sliced meat red with the chilli flakes 

  22. Chop the grey shrimp until they looked smashed 

  23. It’ll be easier to cut the grey shrimp with two knives 

  24. Pour the cut shrimp in a bowl 

  25. Mix the ingredients with a spoon or chopsticks

  26. Pour the mixed shrimp and ingredients 

  27. Flatten the cutted ingredients and wrap it up and refrigerate it for 2 hours 

  28. Chop some meat with two knives

  29.  Make sure they are all in a bowl 

  30. Mix it up and make sure it looks mashed

  31. Mix it 

  32. Pour it in the bowl 

  33. Put the sichuan pepper in the bowl 

  34. Put salt 

  35. Make another dry egg and add meat into it then put it with the rest

  36. Make sure to mix it all when your done 

  37. On the other side of the bowl 

  38. Get a bowl and put the ingredients from 50 

  39. Then mix it
